"I'm not sure if you remember me, but I purchased several plants from you a few months ago. I had you ship them to my sister in South Carolina.

Without boring you (or telling you more than you want to know) I wanted to let you know that those plants were the first step toward a reconciliation between my sister and me. We hadn't spoken for about 7 years, but last fall we rather "had" to talk as we had to plan our parent's 50th wedding anniversary party. In one of those e-mails, my sister mentioned a blue cactus she'd love to have; you had that cactus, so I got it for her. Since then, I think I ordered a few more things from you which you graciously shipped to her.

I want to thank you for the role you played in this reconciliation. My sister and I are now in constant contact, and much of the conversations revolve around plants. I feel indebted to you for bringing my sister back to me!
